Stimulant Medication
•Classic
stimulants: cocaine,
caffeine, amphetamine,
methylphenidate, methamphetamine,
mazindol
•Opiates: etorphine, fentanyl, morphine, buprenorphine
•Tranquilizers: “washy horses”: acepromazine, promazine, fluphenazine, detomidine,
etc.
•Bronchodilators: clenbuterol, terbutaline, atropine, ipratropium bromide
•Always illegal and usually an “inside job”
