How to make
an ELISA test
•Obtain drug or drug structure
•Derivatize drug: add COOH or NH2 group:
hapten
•Link derivatized drug (hapten) to BSA
•Inject into rabbit, re-inject, wait
•Link hapten to Horse Radish Peroxidase (HRP)
•Check rabbit serum for antibodies
•Construct and validate ELISA test
